Hi everyone! This post is part of our Early Literacy Prizepack Giveaway!
To complete your BONUS entry into our giveaway...post on this forum what your FAVORITE thing is about reading with your kids. This can be ANYTHING! It can be a special book, or routine/ritual your family does, or that extra activity you do related to reading to your kids. ANYTHING!
Thanks everyone! We look forward to reading some great things on here!
I love that my child loves to read. He's starting to really understand the story. It's amazing what they pick up on. Sometimes we'll play a game where I will quote part of a book and he'll go find that book on the bookshelf. Kids are so smart!
I agree! It's fun to pick up a storybook and remember reading it as a child. I really love it when my kids choose their nighttime book to be the Frances series (Frances was a little girl badger...for those who don't know). I still love reading those books/stories. What are some of your favorites?
Isn't it such a special thing that you will always be able to remember (as will your child) your time reading together? My kids love that time so much that when they do something well- they get an extra bedtime story/book as a reward. I LOVE that they love it so much! I just hope they continue it on with their own kids as well!
Thank you to everyone for entering our June 2013 Early Literacy Giveaway! And thank you to everyone who posted on our forum! Now that you have posted here...don't be shy to post more! Feel free to respond and give your input to the other topics...or even start your very own!
